Huddersfield Town’s Jon Gorenc Stanković admitted it was an amazing feeling to record a 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the John Smith’s Stadium.
The win was the first since November and meant the Club did the double over Wolves. The Terriers are 11 points from safety with 10 games remaining.
When speaking to #HTTV after the game, Stanković added that the team gave everything to earn the victory.
“It’s an amazing feeling that we won this game.
“Everybody fought for it and everybody gave everything, and, in the end, we deserved that win. I think we can move forward from this one.”
The Slovenian Under-21 international went onto say that his good ball playing skills allowed him to adapt to the number six role that he was given in tonight’s game whilst also doing his defensive duties.
“I’m good on the ball and I can play in the number six like today.
“For the last few years I’ve played centre-back so I know how to defend and so today these two things came together.”
