Town take on Bristol City on Tuesday 7 March at the John Smith's Stadium, with both sides looking to win three points.

Off the pitch, fans can compete, too, because both clubs are Pledgeball partners!

Pledgeball gives fans the opportunity to take actions – big or small – to promote sustainability in a competitive way. Town fans can show their support by making pledges for specific fixtures that will improve the local environment (like using public transport or a reusable cup) – and be in with a chance to win a signed ball and match day tickets. The fanbase that pledges to save the most carbon emissions by midnight on match day will see their club win the Pledgeball fixture and climb the league table.

Supported by HTSA, who led Huddersfield to third place in the 2021/22 Pledgeball League, we’ll be giving our fans the opportunity to make a difference as we look to build on last year’s strong debut. This week, we want to beat Bristol City, and for the rest of the season, we want to see if we can bring the Pledgeball League honours to West Yorkshire.

Fans can make pledges for the Bristol City game by CLICKING HERE and be in with the chance of winning a signed ball and match tickets, as well as helping the Terriers climb the league table.

The impact the Town fans could have is significant:

If every fan in the stadium reduced their washing machine to 30 degrees, it would save the same amount of emissions as taking 181 cars off the road - If every fan in the stadium reduced their shower time to 4 minutes, it would be equivalent to taking 182 cars off the road - If all of Town’s Twitter followers draft-proofed their homes, it would have the same effect as taking 2,014 cars off the road

Katie Cross, Founder of Pledgeball said:

“Huddersfield Town finished an astonishing third in the Pledgeball League last season.

“I’d love to see Town at the top of the table, and it wouldn’t take many fans pledging to make this a reality.

“Pledge and tell your friends. UTT!”
